Working Visits by Pertamina Trans Kontinental's Board of Commissioners Strengthens Integrated Maritime Services Reliability in Support of National Energy Supply
Medan, August 5, 2026 – The Board of Commissioners and Management of PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental (PTK) conducted a working visit to several PTK operational areas in Sumatra, specifically Lampung and Medan. The visit is part of PTK's ongoing commitment to upholding Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) standards, ensuring service and operational reliability, and exploring new business opportunities.
In Lampung, the inspection was conducted at the Company-Owned Terminal (TUKS) at the Lampung Fuel Terminal and the Ship-to-Ship (STS) facilities in Teluk Semangka on July 22–23, 2026.
Later, on August 4–5, 2026, they inspected the Marine Port at the TUKS Integrated Terminal Medan Group and the Special Terminal (Tersus) at the Pangkalan Susu LPG Terminal.
PTK Marketing Director Albertus Anto Budi Santosa explained that such working visits are a routine practice for the Board of Commissioners and Management of PTK.
He added that synergy within the Pertamina Group is also a critical factor in ensuring the smooth distribution of energy.
"PTK continues to strengthen collaboration with all Pertamina Group to deal with every operational challenge to ensure that public needs are fulfilled and economic activities can continue without disruption," said Albertus Anto on the sidelines of the inspection in Medan, Wednesday, August 5, 2026.
Beyond inspecting facilities and infrastructure, the Management also engaged directly with PTK officers during the visit. A harmonious relationship between the Board of Commissioners, Management, and officers is expected to boost the HSSE implementation, as well as safe, reliable, and sustainable operations.
PTK's integrated operations include the provision and operation of support vessels, port operations, marine services, and coastal logistics bases (shorebases) across several strategic locations in Indonesia.
