Surpassing 31,000 Vessel Calls, PTK Strengthens the Global Competitiveness of Its Ship Agency Services

Jakarta — PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental recorded a significant achievement in its ship agency services performance throughout 2025. Through its ship agency services business line, PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental (PTK) successfully handled more than 31,000 vessel calls, exceeding its Corporate Work Plan and Budget (RKAP) target. This milestone reflects PTK’s operational resilience and reinforces its role in supporting the smooth flow of energy logistics at both national and international levels.
This success was driven by the growth of third-party and general agency services. PTK recorded a 28 percent increase in revenue above its business target, accompanied by a 141 percent surge in gross profit. These results demonstrate that the company’s service expansion strategy and strengthened operational network have enhanced financial performance while reinforcing long-term business sustainability.
From a service perspective, Agency Operations Performance 2025 further solidified PTK’s position as a globally competitive ship agency service provider. Improved vessel service coordination, faster clearance processes, and more efficient port administration successfully optimized vessel port time. This delivered direct benefits to clients through faster and more efficient operational processes, helping reduce overall shipping costs.
PTK Operations Director, Yudi Wibisono, stated that this achievement demonstrates PTK’s readiness to deliver reliable and integrated ship agency services. He emphasized that exceeding the target was made possible through strengthened cross-functional coordination, enhanced human capital competencies, and the implementation of international service standards. He added that ship agency services play not only an administrative role but also a strategic function in ensuring the smooth mobilization of energy vessels.
The growth of third-party services also indicates PTK’s success in expanding its non-captive market. The expansion of international agency services in Singapore, Malaysia, and the United Arab Emirates highlights PTK’s capability to compete in the global market, further strengthening its reputation as a strategic partner in maritime energy logistics.
Digital transformation has also been a key driver of PTK’s agency performance improvement. Through the My Pertamina Marine Services (MMS) platform, PTK has integrated more than 135 customers and processed nearly 4,000 digital transactions throughout 2025. This digitalization enhances service transparency, accelerates agent appointment processes, and optimizes receivables management through a more efficient billing system. For clients, MMS provides faster, more accurate, and real-time documented service access.
More broadly, the success of Agency Operations Performance 2025 has had a tangible impact on the smooth distribution of national energy supplies. Efficient port operations and reliable agency services ensure the timely mobilization of energy vessels, supporting supply stability for industries and communities. PTK’s strengthened international operational network also expands Indonesia’s role in global energy logistics.
Through this achievement, PTK reaffirms its commitment to continuous innovation, technology-driven service enhancement, and the expansion of its global operational network. Moving forward, PTK will continue to improve service quality and expand its international market share to ensure energy distribution remains safe, efficient, and sustainable.
