PTK Ensures Reliability of Marine Services through Ramadan Safari and Management Walkthrough in Surabaya

Surabaya — PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental (PTK) reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening the reliability of national maritime services through the implementation of a Ramadan Safari and a Board of Directors Management Walkthrough (MWT) in Surabaya. The initiative forms part of a strategic agenda in synergy with Pertamina Holding to ensure operational readiness, reinforce workplace safety culture, and enhance cross-entity engagement in supporting reliable and sustainable national energy distribution.
The series of activities began with a Management Walkthrough at the Pertamina Benoa Kade Jetty area as a direct validation of PTK’s Marine Services operational readiness. Through on-site observation and operational dialogue, the Board of Directors ensured that maritime facilities, vessel operational support, and field work systems were operating in accordance with operational excellence standards. This approach represents the company’s concrete effort to ensure that maritime services consistently support the energy supply chain in a safe and efficient manner for all service users and business partners.
For PTK, the initiative has strategic value in strengthening client and prospective client confidence in the company’s service quality. Direct validation in the field demonstrates that the reliability of Marine Services is not only built through planning, but also through active supervision and direct leadership involvement. This further reinforces PTK’s positioning as a strategic marine services partner capable of ensuring operational reliability for the energy and national maritime industries.
In addition to ensuring operational readiness, the activity also emphasized strengthening the implementation of HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) as the primary foundation of maritime operations. Consistent application of safety standards remains a crucial factor in maintaining service sustainability and minimizing operational risks in strategic operational areas. By ensuring optimal HSSE standards, PTK not only protects its assets and workforce but also provides operational safety assurance for customers and stakeholders.
PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental Operations Director, Yudi Wibisono, emphasized that direct management involvement in the field is an essential part of maintaining service quality. “Management Walkthrough serves as an important moment to ensure that all PTK Marine Services operate in accordance with safety, reliability, and operational efficiency standards. The presence of management on-site also reflects our commitment to supporting the smooth distribution of national energy through excellent maritime services,” said Yudi.
The initiative also strengthened alignment between Pertamina Holding’s strategic direction and operational implementation at the execution level. Through Board Greetings sessions and open dialogue with officers from various entities, management encouraged constructive two-way communication to build a collaborative and sustainable work culture. PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental Finance & HR Director, Eko Cahyadi, stated that operational success is determined not only by systems and technology but also by the quality of human capital. “Engagement between leadership and officers is key to creating operational sustainability. When the company’s vision is shared and understood collectively, service delivery to customers will become increasingly optimal,” he explained.
Beyond operational aspects, the Ramadan Safari activities also generated social impact through charity initiatives and community sharing programs. This initiative reflects the company’s commitment to integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) values into its corporate activities. Through this approach, PTK demonstrates that corporate sustainability is measured not only by operational performance but also by meaningful contributions to communities surrounding its operational areas.
Through the implementation of the Ramadan Safari and Management Walkthrough 2026, PTK emphasizes that the success of national energy distribution is not solely determined by physical infrastructure, but also by the reliability of the maritime services that support it. By ensuring high safety standards, operational reliability, and sustainable engagement between management and officers, PTK continues to strengthen its role as a strategic partner within the national energy ecosystem while delivering added value to clients, prospective customers, and the broader community.
