Keeping Energy Flowing, PTK Strengthens Marine & Port Operations Services through a Management Walkthrough at TBBM Manggis

Bali – PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental (PTK) reaffirmed its strategic role in ensuring the smooth distribution of national energy through the reliability of its entire fleet as well as its marine services and port operations. This reliability stands out as a competitive advantage and received appreciation during the Management Walkthrough conducted by PTK’s Board of Commissioners and Board of Directors at TBBM Manggis, Bali. The activity focused on directly reviewing the readiness of vessel berthing services, pilotage–towage–mooring, jetty activity management, as well as fuel unloading and distribution processes as critical points in the energy distribution chain for Bali and surrounding areas, while also ensuring optimal implementation of HSSE, marine assurance, and risk control.
During the Management Walkthrough, PTK management directly inspected jetty facilities, vessel berthing flows, marine traffic arrangements, and the implementation of occupational safety procedures. From PTK’s business services perspective, operational reliability at this critical point is a key determinant of the smooth sea-to-land energy distribution chain, particularly in high-risk, continuous fuel unloading operations.
PTK’s Director of Operations, Yudi Wibisono, emphasized that the Management Walkthrough serves as an essential instrument to maintain end-to-end service quality. “We ensure that vessel berthing services, pilotage–towage–mooring, and jetty activity management are carried out in accordance with the highest standards. Direct on-site supervision allows us to ensure consistent implementation of HSSE, marine assurance, and risk control, so that fuel unloading operations can be conducted safely and on schedule,” he said.
He added that the reliability of marine and port operations services not only supports smooth terminal operations but also strengthens the trust of clients and potential clients in PTK’s capabilities. Integrated services, supported by competent personnel and robust safety systems, provide operational certainty for service users requiring international-standard maritime support.
More broadly, the strengthening of PTK’s services at TBBM Manggis directly contributes to maintaining the continuity of fuel supply for the people of Bali and surrounding areas. A reliable supply chain helps minimize the risk of distribution disruptions and maintain regional energy stability. Through this activity, PTK reaffirmed its role as the backbone of marine services and port operations within the Pertamina Group, ensuring that every liter of energy moves safely, efficiently, and sustainably from the sea to the community.
