During Ramadan, PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental Spreads the Spirit of “Energy to Move Forward with Hope” through Sharing in Diversity in Ambon

Ambon — As part of the Ramadan Safari 1447 Hijri, PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental (PTK) carried forward the spirit of “Energy to Move Forward with Hope” through Ramadan charity initiatives at Al Madinah Orphanage and the Advent Care Indonesia Foundation (YAPI) Mutiara Ambon Orphanage, along with engagement activities with PTK personnel in the Marine Business Operation Region (MBOR) III Maluku–Papua. This initiative reflects the company’s commitment to social responsibility while strengthening harmonious relationships between management, employees, and the surrounding communities.
Al Madinah Orphanage in Ambon is a social institution dedicated to nurturing and supporting orphans and underprivileged children, with a focus on education and character development rooted in Islamic values. Meanwhile, YAPI Mutiara Ambon Orphanage supports children from diverse backgrounds, guided by a spirit of humanitarian service and compassion beyond differences. PTK’s presence at both institutions symbolizes sharing in diversity, reinforcing the values of tolerance, empathy, and unity as a social foundation that brings communities together.
The management team’s visit to the orphanages was marked by warmth and a strong sense of togetherness. The donations provided were not merely social assistance, but a symbol of care and the company’s commitment to growing alongside the community. Ramadan was embraced as a moment to share hope, strengthen humanitarian values, and foster positive energy that connects the company with its surrounding environment.
PTK President Director, I Ketut Laba, stated that Ramadan serves as a time for reflection and for strengthening social responsibility in every aspect of the company’s business journey. “Through this Ramadan charity initiative, we aim to share happiness and strengthen our bonds with the community. PTK is present not only as a maritime energy service provider, but also as part of a community that grows together with society. The spirit of Ramadan reminds us to continuously deliver meaningful impact and hope to our surroundings,” he said.
In addition to the charity activities, the Ramadan Safari also included engagement sessions and iftar gatherings with PTK personnel in MBOR III Maluku–Papua. These moments of togetherness strengthened organizational engagement and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to building a collaborative, people-centered, and sustainable work culture. Through the spirit of sharing in diversity, PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental aspires to deliver energy that not only drives business operations, but also brings hope and tangible benefits to communities and stakeholders across Eastern Indonesia.
