Strengthening Synergy and Evaluating Service Reliability, PTK Directors Conduct Management Walkthrough at RU IV Cilacap

PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental (PTK) continues to demonstrate its commitment to enhancing safety, service reliability, and operational synergy through the implementation of a Management Walkthrough (MWT) at the RU IV Cilacap operational area on 11–12 November 2025. As a strategic entity supporting the national energy supply chain, this initiative serves as an important step to ensure that all maritime business processes are carried out in accordance with Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) standards, while strengthening a culture of integrity and sustainable work practices.

The MWT was led directly by PTK President Director, I Ketut Laba, together with PTK Director of Operations, Yudi Wibisono, and supported by cross-functional management teams including the VP of Legal & Relation, VP of Marine Fleet, VP of HSSE, GM MBOR II, as well as operational managers from Technical Fleet Management, Marine Services, and HSSE MBOR II. Their presence underscores PTK’s strategic role in supporting the operational reliability of RU IV Cilacap, one of the most critical areas for maintaining national energy supply stability.

During the MWT activities, management conducted a comprehensive site visit to the Jetty Area 70 RU IV to directly observe operational performance, equipment readiness, compliance with the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and the effectiveness of HSSE procedures implemented by PTK officers on site. The inspection was followed by discussions on current operational conditions, potential risks, and recommendations for strengthening safety systems that must be consistently upheld by all personnel.

In his remarks, PTK President Director I Ketut Laba emphasized PTK’s vital role in ensuring smooth refinery operations.

“Cilacap is one of the most important points in the national energy supply chain. Therefore, every maritime service activity must be carried out with the highest safety standards. Safety, reliability, and professionalism are not merely requirements, but values that must live within every PTK employee,” he stated. He added that the MWT allows management to observe field challenges firsthand, enabling strategic decisions to be made accurately and based on actual conditions.

Echoing this, PTK Director of Operations Yudi Wibisono stressed the importance of open communication between management and PTK officers as the foundation for continuous improvement.

“MWT is not just a monitoring activity, but also a dialogue space for officers to share aspirations and operational experiences. Such interactions strengthen a sense of ownership, enhance HSSE awareness, and ensure that every PTK member works with high standards that support sustainable refinery operations,” he explained.

In addition to the site inspection, the PTK management team also made a courtesy visit to the GM of RU IV KPI to align operational strategies and strengthen synergy in providing responsive and adaptive maritime services. The agenda continued with presentations from the MBOR II function and the JBT–JBB Area covering operational achievements, risk evaluations, and follow-up plans to improve service efficiency and reliability in Cilacap.

The series of MWT activities concluded with a discussion session, Q&A, and a joint prayer as a form of commitment to safeguarding lives, company assets, and environmental sustainability. The warm atmosphere and strong engagement between management and officers reflected the spirit of unity that has long been the foundation of PTK’s success in supporting RU IV Cilacap operations.

More Cilacap MWT served as a real reflection of how synergy, professionalism, and dedication across PTK personnel play a vital role in maintaining the reliability of maritime services—an essential pillar of national energy resilience. Through strengthening safety culture, improving infrastructure readiness, and fostering active cross-functional communication, PTK continues to progress as a national maritime company that creates positive impacts for society, stakeholders, and sustainable energy development in Indonesia.
